So you ask what's Kev up to.
I am going to repack my Carbon cans this weekend, so a how to report this Saturday.
I am working on a full wiring conversion for my 07 with O2 sensor back to a 06 spec without O2 sensor, I need more control over the fuelling & the 04 to 06 ECU's allows this.
As for the other guys you will have to wait for their response. If you are after some sort of performance package kit, I think it is a long way off. There is no great demand for such a kit as yet.
The facts are since I have shown that a big bore can be done to the XT660, I only know of 1 other person that has actually done the conversion in the world & 2 more on the way.

Not surprise not too many people have done the big bore as the expense for those who have to pay labour costs would be massive.
Personally I don't like changing displacement - it's entirely personal but it feels like cheating. I am only interested in making the engine perform better within the limits of its size. Therefore am interested in high comp pistons, cams, porting or anyting else that can be done within the limits of reliability.
After all the excitement about the throttle body boring - there's still been no real feedback about the results which I for one am interested in.
I think if any of you tech guys were to make it easier for us less technically savvy people - you may find there is far greater take up than there was for say the big bore you did.
If I was Freez or Kenny I would say / do something like this:
Option A:
Send us your head and throttle body. We will port the head and bore the throttle body and it will cost you $x. You will get x or y HP and torque gains.
Option B:
The above plus we will return them to you with a high comp piston (I know there isn't one yet but we live in hope) and a performance cam shaft. These will cost you $y. You can expect to gain between x and y HP and x and y NM of torque.
If it were this simple and the results were a) presented in a way in which we could actually understand them and b) the results were guaranteed, I think you'd find some take up.
Just my 2c.
