Additional notes in regards to those who intend to buy and sell XT parts through this section of the forum.

While this is not eBay, when it comes to selling anything related to the XT bikes there is no better place than this space as you've have all found out.

There are no rules that you have to observe and no feedback to check however, it remains clear by all that your buying and selling it’s done at your own individual risk, and all I ask you is to remember the following:

XT660.com will not take any responsibilities in the event of a dispute but if someone does not behave honestly when selling or buying, then their forum "reputation" is at stake, and by that anyone found to have attempted to sell goods, obtain money and not sending the items can risk a permanent ban.
Likewise people that buy things and don’t pay will face the same appearance in the wall of shame.

To conclude I would also like to remind sellers that when a buyer has paid you by paypal, and you have received an email notification of funds received in your paypal account, as far as they are concerned YOU HAVE BEEN PAID!!

So your commitment after that point is to send out the goods ASAP, you don't need to wait until you withdraw the money from paypal to your private bank account as that is considered as a secondary transaction and the delay incurred is nothing to do with your buyers but rather with the 5-10 working days that paypal and your bank will take to process these transfers.

I don't appreciate to receive complaints from people that have paid by paypal and are being made to wait for their goods for the above absurd reasons.

As I've said this is a free and open to all service, but if people abuses it and ruin it for the rest, I will be compelled to delete this section and there'll be no more buying / selling through XT660.com
