Ive heard of the Motox stuff before very much like the pink muck off i use, but you might want to be careful using washin up liquid as it contains very small pieces of grit in it to scrub off muck, this sounds good but can scrape and scratch plastics, screens, pieces of metal etc etc.

Also the scottoiler spray is very good, ive used it on my bikes for the last 2 years and does the job, i like to spray a thin film everywhere (no brakes) and i find its best when sprayed on a good clean wheel rim, next time you come to wash it, the muck comes off alot easier trust me.
