My first post, finally found out how to do one.

I recently took the mudguard/plastic covers off the front of my XTR. Made a lightweight ali support and fitted a skinny trials mudguard 25mm away from the wheel. It was about the only thing I didn't like about this bike. It's like the front was designed by committee, fit a low one or a high one. Can't decide, fit one of each. My mod removed about a kilo and I admit it's not to all tastes but I like it.
