I also find when riding at night that the light doesn't dip so much when I hit the brakes and I can still see where I'm going which is a rather good plus point I reckon. Definately a good mod Kev. Nice!

There is a screw under the main beam that you can loosen or tighen to adjust the projection of light to compensate for your individual weight when riding normally and the relevant effect of the bike dipping under breaking conditions.
