I had a good look over it at Motorcycle Live on Monday....
There's some well made bits, and some nice additions but there's also some vulnerable bits that'll be hard to protect... the gear change push rod is very long, a left side fall onto a rock and you've got gear change problems. The centre stand is very low and really does reduce ground clearence.
Folding rear break leaver is nice, but the main part of the lever looks vulnerable, more snapable than bendable (and therefore bend-back-able)
The bike feels much smaller than the 660... even with the high ralley seat fitted. Maybe due to the seat being narrower, and that leads to the long term comfort question.. only a long ride will answer that.
The SW-Motech (Yamah OE) rack, it sits too far forward if you ever want to put a pillion on, and they'd need legs narrower than my forearms.
The addition of a chain guide is nice and the lights look awesome! It feels very comfortable to site on and sits nicely between your legs if you stand up, the tapered bars feel better than the stock 660 bars too.
I don't think I'd move from the 660 to the 700.. just my opinion, I'm sure (actually I know

) others love it.
