The ride is much better. A few extra mph with it nailed(unimportant), but also sounds better.
What is really noticible is the way it pulls 'harder' everywhere, especially low down.
I bought the tenere with fond memories of riding a klr650 when I was younger (30ish years ago...) It really thumped out of corners with a twist of the throttle, and now the tenere does the same.
In the years I've had zzr11s triumph triples and classics, Harleys of all flavours and BMW boxers and fireblade. I can't remember ever being so impressed with a bike.
I love the Tenere, it's close to being my perfect bike - the mods have moved it closer.
A taller screen is next. I think then it'll be perfect (for me).
