...great news buddy but get on this......My new sprocket arrived today too and it's a third design. It has the flange/shoulder and both sides are fitted with a hard rubber to match the sprocket's circumference. This is sometimes known as a 'run quiet', in theory damping out chain noise I suppose.

The complete PITA was the tab washer wouldn't fit properly within this rubber ring. Out with the craft knife then !...
