I take it you are not self employed and not in the business of buying & selling bikes to make a living.

Your tax is normally based on the money you earn: work, interest, capital gain and finally inheritance.


If your bike is a private purchase, selling it would not make you tax liable unless you make a profit beyond the capital gain tax.




From what you mention I don't think you need to be concern about tax on the sale of your bike
