I'll try with the rad. I'm not sure which coolant was put in, i normally change myself, but was at a garage in Georgia and busy with some other stuff, they said they'd do it while i did something else for next to nothing so i just let them get on with it. Perhaps I shouldn't have assumed. Although i guessed bike coolant was pretty universal to be honest?

Could incorrect coolant cause the pipe to heat up?
