It might be worth a read through before you find you may not be legally able ride away from the testing station.
Just for clarity:

Minor Fault - Repair as soon as possible
Major Fault - Repair immediatly
Dangerous - Must not ride/drive

It's the 'Dangerous' category that raises concerns for me, not that anyone in their right mind would wish to ride something that is dangerous, and it's a sad state of affairs when there are folk out there who would. But the concern is around borderline items, or just plain unscrupulous testing stations who can now legitimately create work for themselves, and charge whatever they wish to repair some faults, leaving the owner with little recourse but to appeal, and be without their bike or having to pay for recovery services to repatriate their bike.
