New, more stringent, rules come in to force Sunday 20th May '18 for M.O.T. testing of motor vehicles which includes firmer testing for motorcycles.
As an example it talks about registration plate lights which were not previously tested and now can be classed as a 'major fault'
It might be worth a read through before you find you may not be legally able ride away from the testing station. Since it's all computerised with time, day and date of fail/pass, there's no escaping.
