hello all, new dutch member

Hi i'm Frans from Arnhem Netherlands.
Have just purchased a 660 z model 2010 from Germany, this bike has 45K kilometers on the clock and i had to deep clean it because there was still mud from patagonia and alaska on it. Bike runs great though. I intend to remove the crash bar and already removed the rack for the panniers that were a little too beat-up for my taste. The registration still has to take place, but i cannot wait.
I am a long time veteran on the good old XT500's ,still own one (1979) but wanted a tenere for the more long-distance tours that can be enjoyed in comfort on one of those. The 500 is best kept away from the freeways i think.
Still finding out things like the red key is not just a spare! jeez. all these ff-ing electronics.. i'm not a fan, but as long as everything works it's great.
I know these forums are a true treasure-trove of useful information and i thank everybody in advance for providing all this.

Cheers!
Frans.
