I have a nitron R1 shock on my Fz1n and I put one on my tiger 800 as I get them trade, still not cheap mind you.But don’t think I would bother putting one on the xt660r at that price. But like the other member I have been waiting for one to pop up on eBay but they never do. BUT saying that I have my tiger 800 up for sale on eBay and have removed the nitron shock which is brand new only done 100 miles So when that sells I might just add �100 and buy the Ohlins for the xt660r. But just don’t know if I can spend that much on the xt660 suspension as again like the other member said it’s at the bottom of the food chain when it comes to my bikes. Even though it is in as new condition. I would get a Nitron but I don’t think they do them for the xt660 will have to check. As when the nitron sells I will have �400 to spend and I guess it would be a shame for the xt660 to be the only one of my bikes without an aftermarket shock. Got me thinking now. Or may just change the spring to a hyper pro . I did that on one of my other bikes 2 or 3 years ago and that made a massive difference on its own so that might be enough for the xt
