Thanks again for all comments

Bought my Tenere just south of Frankfurt last autumn (never tried the bike before) and rode it 1600 kilometers (1000 miles) to my home 50 kilometers north of Oslo in two days. The bike was a stock 2009, with less than 7000 kilometers on the clock.

I was surprised to experience how comfortable it was cruising at 160 km/h (100 m/hr), in fact more comfortable than any of my previous bikes. And, there is no surging whatsoever. The only thing that came to mind was that it could be nice with a slightly crisper throttle response (doesn't it always?).

After the 1600 kilometers in less than 40 hours my back-end was a bit sore, so late in the autumn I mounted a Touratech high seat. Didn't have the chance to try it out much before the winter set in, but I do believe that it has reduced the wind protection from the stock screen. I would like to do something about that (I'm 185 cm tall, btw), hopefully without increasing buffeting.

I know, different experiences for all riders. None the less, any guesses to what would be my best alternative for the wind shield, Puig, Givi or the Touratech spoiler?

Many thanks in advance
