Stock or Not Stock that is the ?
I am new to the forum and to the XT Z, for me with any bike greater gains come from suspension upgrades than spending a rake on the exhaust. I have had Wilbers, Hagons and my favourite's Nitron. The Wilbers were top quality, the Hagons were pure replacements ( Still a good bit of kit) on one of my bikes but the Nitrons are superb and a massive upgrade. I do not pick up the XT until next week but I am already pricing up the Adventure Shock from Nitron. I will have the forks upgraded as well, internals if possible and beefier springs.
I took a long time deciding on the XT Z, chosen for its ability to cover road miles well and able to go off road and not be as fickle as a pure dirt bike is on maintenance. Its clear to get a decent offroad capable XT the basics are clearly there but some upgrades are required.
