I dont want to waste money replacing tyres and such as they look like new except for a bit of cracking on the wall of the tyre.
Firstly, a 2014 bike with a tiny mileage will almost certainly be on its original tyre which will be well past its best by now (especially after standing). The cracked wall is a tell-tale sign. What does the date moulding on the tyre say (four digits: first two = week, second two = year)? It is quite possible that the tyre is even older than 2014. Bottom line is it needs replacing, whether it is the cause of your problem or not.

As nikroc suggests, get the rear end in the air. Check the trueness of the rim by taping a rod/dowel on the swingarm at a right angle to it (so one end rests lightly on the rim), spin the wheel and see what happens. Have a feel for play in the wheel bearings as well (and the sprocket carrier while you're at it).

I suspect it's the tyre though. Its probably rock hard and isn't round anymore!
