My Nephew had an R and loved it (unfortunately it was stolen and found burnt out)
When I rode it back to back with mine the steering seemed heavier, maybe just the gyroscopic force of the bigger wheel, but it did feel a lot different to ride than the X, so try and get a test ride first.
