crofty is on a distinguished road
chain slack with lowering links.

I have been trawling the forum and others for information on this issue and still confused. I have fitted lowering links to my bike and am I right to think that the longer links allow the swinging arm to move closer to the max tension straight line between the drive sprocket/swing arm bolt/rear axle.
So therefore on the side stand now the chain will require less than the recommended 50/60mm. I realise chain adjustment has been done to death on the forum but if someone could confirm my assumtions are correct or explain why not i would be grateful.
