yep, sounds like the starting relay, this could be caused by a weak battery, it might not be the starting solenoid. Check the battery first, do a load test if you can to see if it is supplying enough voltage for long enough to keep the relay

Charged the battery last but was still a little ****y to start lol I have a spare regulator/rectifier so I'm going to swap that and and hopefully it slims the possible problems
