Pleiades is on a distinguished road
It's not just the diameter of the holes. Every bike has different length linkage plates due to shock position, swingarm length, linkage mounts etc. and also different linkage ratios, so what will achieve a +35mm lift on a bandit won't necessarily do the same on an XT. In fact it is quite feasible for raising links for one model to be lowering links if fitted to another!

Just remember the distance between the hole centres is the key to what the linkage plates (bones/arms) achieve for a given model. On an XT with an approximate (keep the maths simple) 3:1 linkage ratio, every increase of 5mm in hole centre from stock/OE will lower the bike 15mm at the axle and conversely every 5mm decrease in hole centre will raise it 15mm.
