How much lighter in weight was the Akrapovic twin system compared to the original system and could you use a dremel and cut the stainless steel cat chambers along the middle weld to remove the cats and then have it re-tigged back together ?

I am wondering how much louder it would be ? Does that system come with DB Killer inserts ?

I like the Akrapovic twin system as it contours very nicely to the underside of the subframe, the actual cans are titanium and by removing the cats should allow it to breather a lot better.
Looks like these are only available from Yamaha as the Akrapovic website does not have them listed for the Z Tenere.
