I have been trying to work out the side panels myself. I never had them on my bike (which is sadly now in a scrap yard somewhere). I believe they fit towards the rear under the seating and covering the exhaust. My feeling is they are not exactly designed for the xtz. There is some instruction on the advrider forum describing how they (at least very similar ones) are fitted. They may actually be Honda XR250/XR400 panels!?!
