Use mine for work and travel (my job combines both) and averaging around 6-700 miles per week.
I try to avoid motorways (they're boring) but A-roads and B-roads are fun for ragging it about.

Just keep an eye on the air box drain hose if you're doing a lot of miles on the motorway.

55,000 miles and hardly a drop of oil needed.
This bike's a keeper.
