Ah filtering.....
Perfectly legal here in the UK, although if there is an incident you really need to be able to show you were doing it 'right' 'Right' has many meanings to many people.
My 'right' is keeping the speed down, 1st or 2nd gear only, 10mph over the ambient speed of others, and you have to have eyes everywhere. I ride the full width of the UK (the northern bit near the Scottish border) Carlisle at the west has atrocious drivers, they care nothing for the fact that riders may be filtering through and will switch lanes without a single thought (or a mirror check). Yet over the East in Newcastle, its a different story, drivers tend to leave lots of room and use them flashing things at the corner of cars,
I'm happy enough with the Tenere and filtering, it's tall and offers great visibilty, just watch the bars and vehicle wing/door mirrors.
