only just found out that the tenere doesn't have a diag mode like the XTR/X. the Daig tool is on the purchase list do you have a link to a website to buy one (quick look on ebay and theres a few universal ones)

Thanks for your temp list as it seems a lot longer than what I remember my XTR use to take to put the fan on (my fan failed which is why I'm cautious)

though about taking the switch out but I have a habit of breaking things and also at the same time thought it was something else ie the radiator cap

lets hope it was just me being impatience and the fan is working. run out on sat so will have a test there
