Hey all! Just to inform you all, I sold my lovely Tenere and got myself 2012 KTM690. I got offered good price that in overall with my repair+purchase price I lost maybe 100-200. New owner liked the overall readiness of the bike: Luggage, new chain and sprockets, scottoiler, 12V plug etc. He is gonna do the Scandinavian tour and I hope it serves him well.
Right now im more into trail and forest riding and a lighter bike would be better for that sport. Im not saying Tenere is not capable of this kind of riding, but I think that I punish Tenere too much in that kind of roads. The Hyperpro springs were perfect but who knows how long they will last with that weight and bumpy forest roads. I could keep up with those light KTMs and light 2 strokes with ease.
KTM already has its typical problems(not smooth idle, stalls when idling too long and clutch slip- should be oil problem). Also got some noise from rocker or tensioner when engines hot. Getting oil change soon cause it was last changed 3 years ago but drove only 2500km's since then. Total milage 4000km.
Will still visit the forums and long live :tenere:
