Your symptoms are exactly those of a dead battery, or rather low battery voltage. Error code 46 means the voltage the ECU is reading is out of range (more often than not too low).

Check your battery voltage. Check the charging circuit. Check the connector on the regulator/rectifier units for burnt out terminals. A failed reg/rec unit connector is by far and away the most common cause for no charge and a dead battery. Your symptoms are exactly what you'd expect with this fault.
