Sorry to hear that bud it really sucks when stuff goes majorly wrong, hope your mechanic makes short work of it.
I got a used engine and fitted it myself for �500. Took me a couple of full days work to take the old engine out, put the other one in and get the bike running again and it seems to be ok so far fingers crossed! Haven't been able to ride it yet as I broke a sensor putting it back together and have to wait till Tuesday for it to turn up so I can ride home.
