Just take your time with it Steve. You shouldn't need any exhaust sealant. When fitting I found loosely doing up the fixings so your happy with the position then tighten everything up. The trickiest bit can be keeping the rear mud guard water tight as to not throw crud off the back wheel all over the electrics under the seat. My Akra's came with bits to fill in the hole in the guards, but I wasn't to keen on that so managed to successfully manipulate the orginal guard section back in.
