Junes normally the best time to ride up here as theres not as many midges and normally sunnyish. This is Scotland though and the further north you go the quicker the weather changes. Hope you enjoy if you can go up the west coast much better scenery and views. Plus plenty of good food as well its a great place to ride normally the roads are pretty quiet too which is a bonus
