Hi Guys. I need a little help here. My 2013 Tenere needs a replacement tank. The previous one was smashed in an accident. I have been lucky enough to buy one in the UK at a really good price off a 2008 model, shipped it out here to NZ and have started putting the bits on it to find that the Fuel cap has a little something extra on my model...

The '08 tank has one breather pipe and the '13 has two. Looking into the fuel cap, it looks like it has a pressure valve, and I think it may prevent the tank being opened while the engine is running. There seems to be a little pin that locks it shut.

Can someone confirm this for me?

Has anyone removed it yet? What needs to be done to acheive this?

Unfortunately the '08 manual doesn't have the second tube in it... Does anyone have a later workshop manual?
