I'll second the praise of DID chains. I'll specific recommend their gold chains where the outer plates don't rust easily. If you run with an automatic oiler that keep the rollers nicely greased the outer plates don't get much love.

Last year i fitted a DID 520 VX2

On my super tenere i went trough the following with an average of ~25000km
DID 520VM
DID 530VM Gold
DID 525ZVM Gold


and before that i was also happy with them on my XT600Z

I've also tried other brands - and will not recommend

AFAM DC 520 MTX
RK 520 XSO
DC 520 MXO
CZ 520 ORM

The last has that in common that they have lasted less than 10k, but the CZ was also less than half price ...
