Cederburg Overnight
First outing with the XTZ.. Normally
something will go wrong - well it did when I owned a BMW, but these Yamahas are just built for these conditions and smooth sailing all the way.
Surface: Loose(very) gravel, firm gravel, soft sand, rocky bits, steep climbs..
Bike loaded and topped out at about 300kg with fuel. Handling was a bit twitchy on the loose gravel but behaved nicely in the soft sand. I was amazed.. fuel consumption excellent too.
Only two pictures to share as the file size limitations on here are ridiculous. My thumbnails exceed the 190KB limit and I don't have the time to resize to fit this odd limitation.
The Cederburg is in the Western Cape, South Africa. 90 mins from Cape Town. Semi desert, arid but clear, clear skiies..
