Firstly the above design is undoubtedly cheap to amke, but they will fill with water. What is there to stop the plastic bottle getting forced onto the clutch / brake levers? When I park the Ten up I just clip a clothes peg onto the muffs to close up the entrance and stop water ingress..
Thet Tucano ones definately fit over Barkbusters.
The Tucano muffs go half way up my forearm and are furr lined. I use very thin gloves all year around and even take the muffs with me during the summer if there is a chance of rain. They strap onto the bike last thing and are very light. The current ones are about 3 years old and have travelled thousands of miles.
I consider it so much safer to have thin gloves that you can reach all of the controls readily and easily. The thin gloves allow the heat from the heated grips to come through.

You know it makes sense.
