Renthal High Enduro bars give a 30mm rise, but also a more natural sweep of the hands. Easy to fit (once you remove the little lug from your switchgear) and they look better.
Other than that , most riser kits specified for the Z are fine. I used SW Moto ones for a while before I switched bars.

Hi both you and Macca2801 have mentioned changing the bars part of my ache is also due to the inward angle of the bars i thought of changing but imagined I would have problems fitting cables switch gear etc. Do you have the model number of your bars and were there any problems fitting the throttle and switch gear to the renthal bar i assume it has the bracing bar and is 22 mm like the standard bar?
PS I have searched thro the threads and found you recommend the renthal 613-01 bar what what was the lug you mentioned on the switches? i assume the throttle cables still have to be routed over the oil pipe after removing the tank? Do you have to drain the tank to remove it or is there a valve of some sort incorporated in it? sorry for all the questions.
