I had a RE for a while, great machine, suspension was a bit cheaper than the Belgardia, but works well.
Brake pads are the same as the Tenere, as is the oil & filter. C&S sets are different.
The tank is ridiculously small, but you can get an Acerbis oversized tank easily enough (if pricey) and the seat is good for 100 miles.
They aren't fast..... with decent knobblies on it'll wobble a bit at 75 (indicated).
The weak point are the speedo, it will fail.... easily replaced with a nice digital TrailTech unit, and mine had an appetite for batteries if I didn't keep it on an optimate. An iridium plug will help with starting from cold.
I'd have another in a heartbeat. A lovely simple air cooled bulletproof off-roader.
