Managed to get out for a lengthy ride recently from Gladstone - Biloela - Banana - Baralaba - Woorabinda - Dingo - Blackdown Tablelands - then back via Gracemere & Rocky. 700k's all up by the time I got home again 12.5 hours later. Perfect conditions.
A 6-30am start, but only half an hour in & I stopped for a coffee & Raisin toast as my hands had gone numb. Also the Motodry Airsteam jacket I'd recently invested in after chancing my arm of 3 years in a high vis Bomber jacket was doing a great job of keeping me cool. Then it was another chilly hour to Biloela before things warmed up again.
