I part ex'd a SV650 for a brand new XTX 6/7 years ago, haven't looked back once.
Completely different animal, it might not be able to keep up with them on long motorway stretches but for fun theres nothing like. Handles through corners lovely, and you can use all the power without losing your licence :P

I rode mine for a few years before I saw the forum so hadn't read about fuelling and surging problem, and I hadn't noticed anything odd. The only issue I'd found was 30mph is between 2nd and 3rd gear, but thats sorted by sitting at just over 30 in 3rd
