I'd have to check, but I'm pretty sure I bought the 698- spring for my Tenere.

I've been too lazy to put it on yet, but I must do it for the reasons as mentioned earlier.

There's not much doubt in my mind that the Tenere doesn't like mis-matched front and rear suspension. Improve the rear and the front seems to deteriorate immediately. Still, it isn't an MX bike...
