Riding back home from North Wales today and pulled into a cafe about 30 miles from home. I thought i had a whiff of coolant when i got off the bike but thought nothing of it as it was raining heavy and thought it was water burning on the downpipes etc.
Set off half hour later and after a few minutes of riding the water temp water light came on, so i hit the kill switch and pulled over. Coolant was dripping from the area at the bottom of the radiator and plastic expansion bottle cover. It stopped after a few minutes.
Ignition off then back on and carried on with my ride home.
This happened 3 times and the rad fan came on every time.
Coolant only leaked the first time but the coolant temp came on every time and so did the fan.
Thanks in advance for your replies..
