Thanks guys, some good info. Think I've finally come to the conclusion that I prefer the Drift cameras, found this gem of a comparison that set that decision in stone. So tempted by the Contour but the Drift edged ahead, sorry Pepsi

Just seems to be packed with features like the screen, remote, wifi, 3.5mm jack blah blah blah... Sure you pay extra but its the whole package, suits me just fine. May even get the picatinny rail mount, slap it on my rifle and take it on a range day, watch this space
