To clear this up I spoke to the local Yamaha dealer in our town and found out that Yamaha South Africa has decided to supply their Tenere's with DNA stage 2 filtration due to the dusty conditions we ride in. The bikes come with the aftermarket filters supplied in the crates with the bikes to dealers.
The importers here are actually Kawasaki who supply the DNA filters to Yamaha.
So I'll probably just get a DNA kit here before I migrate to Aus next year for the bike there.
