No. They don't work and will not help with surging/jerky throttle and may make it worse.

All these resistor type eliminators do is keep the engine trouble light off if you unplug the O2 sensor. The ECU still senses an error and goes into a pre-set failsafe as the ECU doesn�t receive a recognisable O2 sensor signal, it's just that you can't see the error because the warning light is inhibited. They don't send any signal to the ECU and do not correct/alter the A/F ratio in any way.

The ECU needs to receive a continual and quite complex signal from the O2 sensor in order to set the fuelling correctly. An O2 controller/optimizer (Kev's or Dynojet's) is a completely different thing. They send a signal that the ECU can read and interpret, and they DO work.
