Sorry if it's been mentioned before, but I had an 'aha' moment re the very large reserve we are 'blessed' with.

I've been having fuel pump failures with my WR250R at work, which has led to me being very careful to keep the 14L tank I have fitted as full as possible due to heat buildup.

I think Yamaha have attempted to guard the Tenere pump by making as sure as they can be that we refuel before the pump is exposed to risk.

Not a problem in cool places, but a real issue when in city traffic situations and slow running in hot countries.

Well, that's what I reckon, anyway...
