I had the same.
In the midst of winter I borrowed a set of those fixed to the bar mittens. I accidentally hit the hazard switch but thought it was the indicators. I rode for 500 yards trying to switch them off. I got about a mile from the house and gave up on the mit's and realised I knocked the hazard warning lights on. Forgot the bike even had them.
I also bought a set of heated gloves......worth every penny!
