I don't know about random synthetics, but I've always used full synthetic motorbike oil in my Tenere with zero issues. In that, or any other bike. Whether I should/should not use such oil is up to me, but I must say I've had no bad results using it. My TTR250 is 10 years old and on its original, abused clutch pack. Clearly, car oil is a no no!!
