Glad you're OK Steve.

One thing in addition to the above that is always worth double checking when a XTZ goes over is that the airbox isn't full of oil. It can find it's way back through the crankcase breather fairly easily when on its side (particularly going down on the right hand side).

First check the airbox drain pipe isn't full. If it's not you'll be OK, but if it is full, remove the bung and drain it out. Also whip off the airbox side covers and inspect inside. The biggest problem would be if the stock paper filter has got soaked, or partially soaked in oil - they don't like it and it will choke the airflow.

It's worth removing the airbox side covers on a new bike anyway as they were/are never sealed too well from the factory. When refitting, lube the mating surfaces with silicone grease or, if you haven't got any at hand, KY jelly is safe and works very well on rubber!
