Ceramic coating is different from a standard powder coating used for frames, wheels etc. Cereamic is good for 1000+C. It is suitable to coat manifolds, turbo charger casings, brake calipers, radiators and even pistons!

It isn't actually all that expensive.
Not sure whether is will work on riveted silencers like the Akras? Because they are not made entirely of one metal, the different metals will expand at different rates and there will be small amounts of movement at the rivet joints. Cast, formed and welded parts expand and contract more uniformly.
