Gee Petenz mate ... you're obviously a tad less aggressive on the Jesus stick that what I am ... I average about 18 ~ 20 kms/litre so that's around 300kms per tank.

Yes a bit less fanging it around town and a bit better cruising off-road !!!

But it's a damn pity they can't make a reliable and accurate (yet affordable) fuel gauge system on motorcycles. I'd have to say that fuel management is one damn important consideration while adventure riding. Especially so across the Oz Outback where it's often quite a little ride between fuel sources and the consequences of getting it wrong are more than a little serious. It would be really nice to have a better idea of what's going on well before the red light blinks

Yes a couple of extra litres in the standard tank would be wonderful
